Occupational Safety in the Office
In this course, you will learn about potential hazards that can also occur in an office environment – from tripping hazards and ergonomic strain to fire safety and mental overload. You will discover how to identify risks, prevent accidents and act correctly in an emergency. The course also clearly explains topics such as first aid, break regulations, commuting accidents and the correct handling of work equipment.
In this course, you will learn how to stay safe and healthy in everyday office work. You will be able to identify typical hazards and accident risks, reduce them through practical preventive measures, and respond confidently in emergencies and accidents.
The course is structured into four chapters: why office safety matters, how to behave safely on your way to work, how to remain safe and well in the office by avoiding physical strain and mental overload (e.g., ergonomics, breaks, and stress awareness), and how to prevent fires and act correctly if a fire occurs.
