Information Security Basic
In this practical course, you will learn how to effectively protect data and devices in your everyday work. You will learn how to recognise social engineering and phishing attacks, create secure passwords and avoid risks when working on the move. Using case studies and specific tips, you will strengthen your awareness of information security and apply protective measures directly in your everyday work.
In this basic training, you will learn the key fundamentals of information security for everyday work. You will understand why weak passwords are risky, how to create strong passwords, and why a password alone is not always enough (for example, by using additional protection such as multi-factor authentication).
Another focus is social engineering. You will learn how typical attacks work, how to spot phishing, and how attacks are changing with AI. You will get clear guidance on what to do when you encounter suspicious contacts, so you can respond safely and report incidents quickly.
The course also covers security in common work situations: in the office (recognizing risks and creating a secure workspace) and on the go (mobile work risks and how to protect your devices and data). This enables you to actively protect information, systems, and your organization.
