In this course you will learn how to work securely with the cloud in the office and from outside.
Cloud services are essential for everyday work—but they also create new risks when files are shared, devices are used on the go, or access settings are misconfigured. In this course, you will learn the basics of cloud information security: what a cloud is, what it is used for, and which cloud types and services exist.
You will get practical guidance on how to keep your data safe in the cloud—for example with strong passwords and multi-factor authentication, proper sharing and permission settings, safe link sharing, and careful handling of sensitive information. A key focus is using the cloud outside the office (remote work, travel): you will learn what to watch out for regarding Wi‑Fi, devices, and access, so you can avoid data loss and unauthorized access. You will also learn what to do if something happens, so incidents are reported quickly and handled correctly.
