As a manager, you play a key role in ensuring that data protection is not just understood, but actively embedded in daily team routines. In this course, you will learn how to translate GDPR requirements into practical actions and how to maintain compliance reliably in day-to-day operations.
You will gain a hands-on understanding of which types of personal data—including employee data—require particular protection, and which core principles apply (such as purpose limitation, data minimization, and access control). The course shows you how to set up responsibilities, processes, and behaviors in your team so that privacy becomes a natural part of how work gets done. You will also learn how to identify and reduce risks, how to respond correctly to data subject requests, and what to do in the event of a data breach—from initial assessment to proper documentation. This will enable you to not only comply with regulations, but to demonstrate compliance clearly and consistently.
