Artificial Intelligence Basic
Artificial intelligence (AI) has long been part of our everyday lives – both at work and at home. In this course, you will learn what lies behind the term AI and where its opportunities and risks lie. You will learn which legal requirements, in particular the new EU AI Regulation, are relevant for its use and how to deal with AI safely and responsibly in your everyday working life.
In “Artificial Intelligence Basics”, you get a clear introduction to AI and learn how it can automate basic tasks or support you in everyday work. You will explore why AI matters for business and society, where its limits are, and how to interpret AI outputs realistically.
The course covers the essentials: AI fundamentals, risks of using AI, legal aspects, and working with AI safely. You will learn what risks can arise (e.g., errors, bias, data protection and security risks) and what to pay special attention to in day-to-day work. You will also get an overview of key legal requirements for developing and using AI and understand how they affect your actions. The goal is to help you use AI safely, responsibly, and in a legally compliant way in your professional environment.
