Employers are legally required to provide regular instruction on Accident Prevention Regulations (UVV) for road traffic in order to reduce workplace accidents and health hazards on the road. This e‑learning course is designed for anyone who drives a vehicle for work and gives you a concise, practical overview of the most important safety precautions, rules, and responsibilities—for conventional vehicles as well as electric vehicles (EVs).
You will learn the key legal basics and understand your responsibilities as a driver. A major focus is safe preparation: you will know how to check a vehicle properly, secure it, and secure loads correctly so they do not endanger you or others. You will also strengthen safe driving behavior by applying traffic rules confidently and avoiding typical hazards such as blind spots, distraction, insufficient following distance, and risky situations when turning, overtaking, or maneuvering.
The course also addresses challenging situations and emergencies. You will learn how to respond appropriately in critical moments—including what to do in wildlife/animal collisions and the essential steps of first aid. In addition, the course highlights the specific aspects of EVs in road traffic so you can handle them safely. The goal is to increase your confidence, prevent accidents, and sharpen your awareness of correct behavior in a wide range of traffic situations.
